A short drive from Synergy Europe HQ, the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB) is a beautiful modern space facing the Balearic Sea. It’s one of the newest convention centers in Barcelona and is touted for its striking architecture and lighting, and the cutting-edge technology inside. Located in close proximity to the beach and other must-see sites, the CCIB is in the ideal location to explore all the elements of Barcelona that make it a travel destination.

The CCIB is surrounded by dozens of modern hotels, making walking to and from the event venue a feasible option. We’ve scouted out a handful of options that are less than 3.5 km from the event venue ranging from 3-star accommodations to 4-star accommodations. Please book your hotel promptly as rooms may fill up quickly.

Various locations along the Barcelona coast offer courses on surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, kiteboarding, and more. You can use a number of the facilities and areas built and designated for the 1992 Olympics.

A short 15-minute walk from the CCIB is one of the largest concert venues in the city. El Parc del Fórum hosts incredible parties and music festivals all year round, featuring thousands of bands from around the world.

Q. Do I have to be a Synergy Team Member to attend the Summit?

A. To attend Summit 2017, you must register and have an active Synergy account in any month between January and August 2017. Qualified Team Members may also invite guests to register and attend.

Q. What is the dress code for the Summit?

A. Dress for most activities is business casual. For the Recognition Evening, many like to dress up (cocktail dresses for ladies, jackets and ties for men).

Q. Does the Summit registration fee include the flight to Barcelona?

A. No, everyone is responsible for their own airfare to the Summit.

Q. Which airport should I fly into?

A. Please fly into Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN).

Q. Do I provide my own transportation from the airport to the hotel?

A. Yes, you must provide your own transportation from the airport to the hotel. If you need suggestions, please refer back to the hotel accommodations page.

Q. What dining options are available near the CCIB?

A. There are many restaurants within walking distance, ranging in price.

Q. Is my registration transferable?

A. Registration is non-transferable.

Q. Can I cancel my Summit registration?

A. You can cancel your registration, but there is a €15 cancellation fee. Registration is non-refundable after August 31, 2017.

Q. Do I make my own accommodations?

A. Yes, you are in charge of making your own hotel accommodations. There are many options surrounding the CCIB.

Q. When is the last day to register for the Summit?

A. August 31, 2017 is the last day to register for the Summit online or over the phone. Registration will be available onsite depending on availability. Register today for the best price and a guaranteed spot at the Summit!
