SLMsmart Recipe Contest Top 5

Thanks to the SLMsmart Recipe Contest, we’ve learned just how versatile SLMsmart Meal Replacement is. In October, we asked all Synergy Team Members in Europe to unleash their creativity and show us SLMsmart’s culinary possibilities. We received close to 100 submissions and saw everything from panna cotta to soufflé to soup recipes.

The Top 5 recipes were determined based on taste and creativity. We also made sure that each of the winning recipes contain health-promoting ingredients. The Top 10 recipe favorites were created and taste-tested at Synergy Headquarters. The most mouth-watering recipes were ranked in the Top 5. The Top 5 recipes’ creators will receive free SLMsmart and e9 products. Congratulations to Europe’s master SLMsmart chefs! Bon Appétit!

#1. Danish Chocolate-banana SLMsmart Cake

    SLMsmart Batter Mixture:
  • 8 oz. banana (mashed)
  • 3 scoops SLMsmart Meal Replacement
  • 1 oz. Stevia
  • A little less than 1 oz. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 oz. coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

    Chocolate Mixture:
  • 1/2 oz. cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • A little less than 1 oz. Stevia
  • 1 oz. and 1 tsp. coconut milk
  • A little less than 1 oz. dark chocolate (chopped)

Preheat oven to 325° F. Mix all SLMsmart batter ingredients together in a bowl. Pour batter into small bread pan or muffin tins. Mix all chocolate ingredients together in a separate bowl. Pour chocolate mixture over SLMsmart batter and mix chocolate lightly into SLMsmart batter. Bake 30-40 minutes. Do not let cake overcook.

#2. Coconut-banana SLMsmart Shake

  • 3 scoops SLMsmart Meal Replacement
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 100 ml coconut milk
  • 150 ml water
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 tsp. agave juice concentrate
  • 2 tbsp. coconut flakes

Mix all ingredients together in a blender. For decoration, moisten the rim of a glass with water and roll the rim in coconut flakes. Pour shake into glass and enjoy.

#3. Banana-strawberry SLMsmart Ice Cream

  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • 8 strawberries
  • 3 scoops SLMsmart Meal Replacement
  • 240 ml water or milk

Blend ingredients into a smoothie. Pour ingredients in a silicone cupcake tin and put in the freezer for 2 hours. Take miniature ice cream scoops out of the silicone cupcake tin and put on a plate. Dress the ice cream up with fresh fruit and your favorite chopped nuts.

#4. Chocolate-pear Surprise SLMsmart Shake

  • 2 medium-sized pears (peeled and chopped)
  • 2 scoops SLMsmart Meal Replacement
  • 300 ml skim milk
  • 1 tsp. cacao powder
  • 1 tsp. dark chocolate shavings

Put 2 tsp. of SLMsmart and 2 tsp. milk in a small bowl and mix until it makes a smooth paste. Put to the side. Put pears, cacao powder, dark chocolate shavings, remaining milk and remaining SLMsmart into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into two glasses. Gently swirl some of the SLMsmart paste into the chocolate shake mixture. Sprinkle dark chocolate shavings on top.

#5. Kiwi-lime SLMsmart Shake

  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 kiwi
  • 420 ml milk/water
  • 3 scoops SLMsmart Meal Replacement

Mix all ingredients together in a blender and enjoy!
